ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to inspect parts and comply with quality standards.
Verify parts with the work instructions and /or applicable Quality Inspection Manual.
Handle product and materials in such a manner that limits the potential for damage.
Knowledge of part related work instructions to verify correct part assembly.
Ability to follow inspection and test status procedures.
Document necessary information in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures.
Ability to train and communicate quality defects to team members and management.
Ability to plan and react to critical quality situations and support resolution of.
Ensure compliance to 5S principles throughout their assigned department. Maintain daily/weekly required reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong initiative, good communication skills, proactive problem solving abilities and detail oriented.
Ability to use measuring instructions (ie, Tape Measure, Micrometers, Scale Rulers, etc.)
Previous experience in Microsoft office computer programs such as Word, Excel and email.
Previous quality experience.
Ability to distinguish colors and fabrics.
Work as a team member in a group setting.
Follow and adhere to safety rules and regulations, employee handbook and housekeeping rules.
EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE IS A MUST FOR THE WEEKEND SHIFT
Must be self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision.
Must have reliable transportation, proven work history with no attendance issues and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
