Your Role
In the role of Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of quality standards used in the manufacturing of customer products. You will work closely with the manufacturing team to compile quality data, analyze the associated metrics, troubleshoot problems, and recommend solutions. Background Profile
BA/BS in a technical discipline OR AS degree with 5 years of relevant experience
Minimum of 3 years of quality work in a discrete manufacturing environment.
Experience in all phases of inspection (ex. first article, PPAP, receiving and in-process).
Familiarity with QS9000 quality standards a plus.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, permutations and factor analysis.
Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
