Quality Technician 2nd Shift

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Quality Technician job in Dublin, VA. This is for a temp to hire opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career. The Quality Technician will be responsible for the inspection, testing, sorting and sampling of raw materials, in process materials or products and finished goods for defects and dimensions/variables out of specification utilizing precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment. The main function of a Quality Technician will be to mitigate risk and act as the voice of the customer with personnel and supervision working in the production teams. Responsibilities for this Quality Technician job include:

  • Documenting information into spreadsheets

  • Review materials and supplies at reception using product specifications and requirements to ensure conformance to specifications.

  • Disposition products and/or materials that do not meet product specifications or requirements. This includes labeling, BAAN system transfers and physical containment of non-conforming products or materials.

  • Conduct product inspections/testing per the products sampling plan. Record the associated test results electronically or manually utilizing software and forms provided for the test being performed.

  • Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, and work practices for conformance to specifications utilizing materials such as drawings, test data, standard operating procedures and testing manuals.


  • High School Diploma/GED

  • 1-3 Years' Experience in ASQ Quality Certifications, HACCP, Six Sigma, LEAN preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
