Production Supervisor

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintains compliance with departmental objectives as related to productivity, assembly schedules and efficiency

  • Responsible for development plans, identifying training, providing training and maintaining competence levels of business unit assembly personnel

  • Develop effective assembly teams based on MOST time studies, controlling resource allocation, vacation and absentee pools

  • Responsible to maintain compliance with company policy and procedures, UAW contract and unit discipline, as required

  • Maintain effective communications with assembly operators, Business Unit Team members by departmental meetings, personal development and general two way information and communication meetings

  • Maintain health and safety for all business unit personnel by insuring proper work habits, use and maintenance of tools, equipment and housekeeping, related to assembly areas

  • Facilitate process improvements for assembly operations

  • Responsible for ensuring employees in their respective area that has the training and tools to meet the procedures and work instructions of NRV

Minimum Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent years of experience in leading people

  • Four (4) years? experience in Manufacturing / Production

  • Lean manufacturing experience preferred

  • Commercial vehicle industry preferred


 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
