Logistics Data Management

Job Summary
The Logistics data management role is responsible to implement and maintain transport set-ups in the Volvo Group systems, securing accurate and on time implementations of master data.
This is a crucial function within Production Logistics in North America, responsible to make sure our systems are driving optimized transport flows to secure cost efficiency and stability.
You will be a key team member with high energy and a positive team work mind-set, responsible to drive improvements and efficiency throughout our organization.
Core Responsibilities
+ Secure logistics operational performance from an end to end perspective through efficient system configuration
+ Leverage system capabilities to drive optimized transport cost, lead time and service level for inbound and outbound flows
+ Explore new trends and technologies to strengthen our transport system capabilities
+ Act upon system deviations to avoid performance disruptions and increased total cost
+ Lead the transport implementation process in close cooperation with our internal and external stakeholders
+ Develop educational material for suppliers and customers to enable smooth and efficient transport processes
+ Secure our systems are correctly managing the daily transport optimizations to maximize trailers and drivers utilization
+ Coordinate and perform mass uploads in our systems as a result of regional and global transport bids and major industrial projects
+ Contribute to the development of global processes and working methods with counterparts around the globe
+ Perform regular spot checks within the supply chain and investigate root cause for system configuration issues
+ Build and maintain ?big data? sets and analytics tools that will offer deeper insight into our transport network, revealing patterns and trends to drive continuous improvement

+ Experience with Transport Management Systems such as OTM (Oracle Transportation Management)
Minimum Education/Experience Required
+ Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, Business Administration or similar concentration
+ 5+ years of transport management systems experience; Oracle Transportation Management is highly preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
