Airline Vintage Archtop Guitar. What a cool piece of history! This is a vintage Airline archtop guitar in relatively good condition. The strap peg is missing and the nut has been replaced with a bone nut. The original headstock decal was missing and has been replaced with a modern Airline emblem. The headstock has also been distressed and refinished. Otherwise, this guitar appears to have all original hardware. This guitar is currently strung with Elixir 80/20 bronze acoustic .012 - .053 strings. This guitar is fully playable and has a unique warm tone. Please note, this guitar is 50-70 years old and does not have a truss rod. The neck is in good shape but it cannot be adusted in the future. The tuners function, but are very hard to turn. The action is also relatively high with the original wooden saddle. The action can be adjusted by filing the wooden saddle or by replacing with a modern bridge system.
